Amanify, the first Islamic credit card.

Never pay interest or late fees.

With other cards, you agree to pay interest. Now, you never have to. As long as you pay the minimum payment, you will never pay interest on any balance.

Pay it off every month, or don’t.

Unlike secured cards, you don’t have to pay off the card every month. Give yourself peace of mind with Amanify.

Protect yourself.

Unlike debit cards, Amanify protects you against fraudulent charges. Never pay for something you didn’t buy.

Get rewarded and give to charity.

Get points for paying off your balance at the end of the month. Use them for statement credits, or get even greater rewards by using them to donate to Islamic charities.

  • We want to allow Muslims in the US to avoid having to, or even having to agree to paying interest.

  • While this is currently not set in stone, we will look at your credit score (if you have one), income, and connected bank account balances to approve you and give you a credit line. Every month, you must pay off at least the minimum payment. We report these payments to the three major credit bureaus (Experian, TransUnion, Equifax).

  • Every time you swipe your card, the merchant pays a small percentage of the transaction is an “interchange fee” to the network, such as Visa or Mastercard. We get a portion of this fee and use it to run our business. This is also why we offer lower rewards than many other credit cards, since we cannot use the interest some people pay to subsidize rewards.

  • Yes! While most Muslims will never take out a mortgage or a car payment, credit score is used for determining things like insurance rates and screening you as a tenant.

  • There are two types of secured credit cards:
    1. You deposit money into the card as a security, which means you can’t use that for anything else.

    2. You receive a credit limit corresponding to a connected bank account.

In the first case, you lose access to a portion of your money.
In the second, if you forget to pay, you are still charged interest.

  • Amanify does help build credit history. Every month, we report to the three major credit bureaus (Experian, TransUnion, Equifax), helping you build your credit!

  • We will never charge interest or late fees. However, if you are more than 30 days late on payments, we will report this to the credit bureaus and close your account immediately.

  • If you choose to redeem your points for donations, you can choose to support any Islamic charity that we have partnered with. You can also redeem your points for cash back, but for a lesser value.
